Help / Bringing your data in
How are dates and money read?
Dates are read day first, the British way: 01/04/2027 is 1 April. 1/4/27, 2027-04-01, 1 Apr 2027 and spreadsheet dates all work, and a time after the date is ignored.
Money and rates can include £, p and commas between thousands. A comma used as a decimal point (24,5) is refused, unless the whole file uses semicolons between columns, as some European software does.
