What is the sample data, and how do I remove it?

Sample data is six invented companies with sites, electricity and gas supplies, contracts ending over the next 18 months and two deals, so you can see every screen working before your own data is in.

Remove it from the last setup step with Remove the sample data. Only the sample companies and what is on them are removed; nothing you added yourself is touched.
